Norfolk, Massachusetts is a small rural town in the suburbs of metropolitan Boston with a population of approximately 12,000 people. Norfolk offers the charm of a quintessential New England town with the convenience of a commuter rail station offering service to Boston. Boyde's Crossing is only a few minutes walk to the commuter rail station, town center, Town Commons, and nearby trails.

The town also features plenty of open space, including the Audubon Society's Stony Brook Wildlife Sanctuary and the 140-acre Bristol Blake State Reservation. With an extensive boardwalk system that goes through forest, fields, and wetlands, Stony Brook offers up-close views of wildlife above and under the water.

The Norfolk Public Schools provides an outstanding elementary education to the children of Norfolk from preschool through sixth grade. Students  then transition to the King Philip Regional Middle and High School beginning in grade 7.

For the 2nd year in a row, Norfolk is ranked #2 by Safewise as one of the “50 Safest Cities in the United States.” Centrally located within the Metrowest area, Norfolk is the quintessential New England town.

With a vibrant town center and a charming gazebo on Town Hill, residents enjoy evening summer concerts, holiday lightings and fresh vegetables at the farmer’s market.

Hollywood found Norfolk so charming that in 2014 it was chosen as one of the filming locations for the movie Ted 2, a comedy starring Mark Wahlberg and Seth McFarlane.

Norfolk is a welcoming community with an endless variety of recreation and trails, shops, local coffeehouses, restaurants, a state of the art library, an intown commuter rail station, a high performing school district with a nationally recognized award-winning music program and of course, plenty of fresh air!
